AWI Foundation invites Expressions of Interest from qualified and experienced professionals and firms to support the establishment and implementation of the PathFunder Warehousing Facility (PWF).
The PathFunder Warehousing Facility is designed to address the challenge of building a relevant track-record portfolio of investments faced by emerging investment vehicle managers. A strong track record is critical to demonstrating investment capability, building investor confidence and attracting the capital needed to launch and grow funds and platforms.
The Facility is intended to provide eligible managers with a pathway to make investments and build the track record needed to strengthen their fundraising prospects and support the development of sustainable investment vehicles. The need for this support is underscored by the fact that 72% of investment vehicle managers believe track record remains pivotal to fundraising and investor confidence, while the female IVM investment opportunity in Africa is estimated at US$1 billion.
Expression of Interest: Procurement of Legal Counsel
AWI Foundation is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced legal counsel to support the PathFunder Warehousing Facility (PWF).
The Foundation is seeking firms or individuals with relevant experience in Mauritius corporate and investment structuring, SPVs and investment vehicles, cross-border investment structures involving the United States and Africa, and Mauritius financial services and corporate law. Relevant multi-jurisdictional experience and a demonstrated commitment to advancing women are also part of the qualifying criteria.

Expression of Interest: Procurement of Fund Administrator
AWI Foundation is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced fund administrators to establish a Global Business Company (GBC) for the PathFunder Warehousing Facility (PWF) in Mauritius.
The selected Administrator will advise on and implement an efficient and fit-for-purpose structure, including the relevant licensing, regulatory, governance and operational requirements, and support the Facility as it scales. The Foundation is particularly seeking a partner with strong fund administration experience, including experience with emerging fund structures and blended finance vehicles.
Applicants should demonstrate experience working with first-time and/or small funds, new and/or innovative fund structures, and a commitment to advancing women within their organisation and client base. Applicants should also be registered with the relevant authorities.
